Kingsport Board of Education to Hold Administrative Work Session

KINGSPORT, Tenn.Kingsport City Schools Board of Education (BOE) will hold an administrative work session on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 7 p.m. and will resume on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 8:30 a.m.  The work session will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn (635 River Road, Gatlinburg, TN).  The Board will discuss administrative issues including parent/community engagement, potential TSBA resolution recommendations, the recent NSBA conference, and 2016-17 Board planning and focus.  The agenda will also include a review of the KCS Guiding Tenets, instructional focus, and an update on facility and programming plans.  Both sessions are open to the public.

Kingsport City Schools (KCS) is a public school district located in Kingsport, Tenn., serving students in Sullivan and Hawkins county.
