Kingsport Board of Education to Hold Administrative Work Session

KINGSPORT, Tenn.Kingsport City Schools Board of Education (BOE) will hold an administrative work session on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 4 p.m. and will resume on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 8 a.m.  Both sessions are open to the public.  The work session will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn (635 River Road, Gatlinburg, TN).  The Board will discuss issues related to facilities planning and upcoming construction and transitions, evaluation and compensation, and government relations.  KCS employee recognition programs, KCS student services programs, and student achievement publicity will be reviewed.  The agenda will also include an overview of the KCS Strategic Plan, BOE planning for the coming year, and KCS grading policies.
