| Students were encouraged to
consider "how this work" as an introduction to this lesson. Mr.
Boyles began but providing a variety of toys for the students to examine,
play with and try to explain why each of them worked or performed a
certain function. He challenged them to think about why's and how
comes pertaining to many different object. Students were given sticks,
twine, duck tape, etc and they were encouraged to provide other objects to
create their scarecrow in small groups. |
