IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO MAKE ANY CHANGES TO YOUR CURRENT INSURANCE/BENEFITS, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING! EXCEPT... IF YOU WANT TO CONTINUE USING THE FLORES FLEXIBLE SPENDING PLAN. THIS IS THE ONLY PLAN THAT REQUIRES YOU TO ENROLL EVERY YEAR. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION BELOW.

State Benefits - Health Insurance and Vision Insurance (*See below for Dental Insurance)

You only need to take action if you want to add, cancel, or change your health and/or vision insurance for you or your family.

HOW TO ENROLL:

Click here (Edison online portal) if you need to add, cancel, or change your health and/or vision insurance.

If you are eligible for State Benefits, you should receive an email directly from Edison to reset your password for access to this system. If you did not receive an email, you can go to Edison and reset your password. You will need your access ID (Edison ID). Please see below how to get your ID and reset your password.

Take note: The health and vision premiums listed on the State website are full 100% cost. For the actual amount that you will pay, please refer to the KCS - Health and Vision Insurance Premiums 2025 files below.

In-person enrollment is not available for State Benefits. If you need assistance, the KCS Human Resources department can answer questions as needed; employees must access their own account through the Edison online portal.

**ADDING DEPENDENTS** - If you plan to add dependents (spouse or children), be prepared to provide documentation required by the State to be uploaded into Edison. The document below lists the required documentation.

City Benefits - Other Voluntary Benefits

You only need to take action** if you want to add, cancel, or change your voluntary benefits for you or your family. **Take note, Flores Flexible Spending requires enrollment each year. If you do not wish to continue with Flores, no action is needed.

HOW TO ENROLL:

In-person: Sign up here with a Mark III Benefits enroller at your location between October 21-25, 2024.

OR

Self-service: If you prefer to add, cancel, or change your dental insurance on your own, click here (Mark III enrollment website). Login information:

User ID: Your SSN
Password: Last four of your SSN plus last two of your birth year.

**DEPENDENTS AND BENEFICIARIES** - Plans with dependents (such as dental) and beneficiaries (such as life insurance, critical illness, and accident) will require date of birth, addresses, and social security numbers.

Additional Benefits - AirMed Care

If you already signed up for AirMed, you signed up for a 1-, 5-, or 10-year plan. If your plan is expiring, you will need to see the AirMed representative to reenroll. Otherwise, you can let your plan expire and no action is needed.

In-person enrollment is required for AirMed Care if you need to add or change your plan. AirMed representative, Aaron Hess, will visit each location between October 14-23, 2024. If you are interested in this benefit, please stop by and see Aaron while he is at your location (refer to the KCS - AirMed Care Information 2025 file below); an appointment is not necessary.
