project update

4/4/25: Project complete.

11/22/24: Flooring installation complete. Seating installation substantially complete. Decision made to add additional seating at the lower portion of side sections. Items still left to complete: Balcony railing, lighting replacements, punch list items.

9/27/24: Painting of the lower area is complete. Measurements related to seating and installation have taken place, as well as inspection of needed electrical trenching. New flooring is on-site. New seating is scheduled to ship mid-October.

8/15/24: Painting and rail work ongoing. Tile work leading to balcony complete.

7/12/24: Demolition of theater area complete. Seats, flooring, stairwell tile, and balcony rail have been removed. Additional lighting improvements to take place, replacing old/existing lighting. Awaiting receipt of new seats and flooring for installation. Project on-schedule.

5/14/24: Bid approved by the Kingsport Board of Education.
