KINGSPORT, Tenn. – Kingsport City Schools has launched a new anonymous reporting tool called P3 Campus where students, staff, and the community are empowered to anonymously submit reports and other feedback to authorized KCS school administrators and school resource officers at the Kingsport Police Department.

 

"Kingsport City Schools is continually looking at ways to improve the safety and welfare of our students," said KCS Assistant Superintendent - Administration, Andy True. "Adding P3 Campus to our collection of safety processes provides an upgraded way for students to communicate issues of concern with adults. It is this type of healthy communication and partnership that creates the best possible environment for students and staff."

Reports are monitored 24/7 to ensure that time-sensitive matters are dealt with promptly. (When reporters use the mobile app, they are notified when action has been taken on their report, which demonstrates the value of their time and concern.) Reporters can attach photos, screenshots, videos, documents or audio recording to their reports, and they can anonymously engage in two-way dialogue with a real person; both of these features greatly facilitate swift interventions.
