Kingsport City Schools Board of Education and Board of Mayor and Aldermen Joint Work Session

KINGSPORT, Tenn. –  The Kingsport City Schools Board of Education (BOE) and the Kingsport Board of Mayor and Aldermen will hold a joint work session on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 4 p.m. in the Tennessee Room at the KCS Administrative Support Center, 400 Clinchfield Street, third floor, downtown Kingsport.

The purpose of this joint work session is to discuss issues related to school district operations and strategic planning for the 2020-2021 school year. All Board meetings are open to the public.  
 
To allow appropriate time for the joint work session, the regularly scheduled BOE meeting on March 10, 2020 will now begin at 6:30 p.m. (not 6 p.m.)
 
Kingsport City Schools (KCS) is a public school district located in Kingsport, Tenn., serving students in Sullivan and Hawkins county. The district is comprised of 13 schools, including a Pre-K, eight elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school, a high school program of choice, and an alternative learning program; with total enrollment over 7,600 students.
