KINGSPORT, Tenn. – The Kingsport City Schools Board of Education has moved its August work session to Monday, August 24, 2020 at 5 p.m.  The work session will be held in-person in the Tennessee Room of the KCS Administrative Support Center (400 Clinchfield Street, 3rd floor).  

Due to COVID-19, capacity limitations will be in effect in accordance with Tennessee Pledge guidelines.  All attendees will be required to wear a face mask and pass a safety screening before entering the work session location.  The work session was originally scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August 25, 2020.

Kingsport City Schools (KCS) is a public school district located in Kingsport, Tenn., serving students in Sullivan and Hawkins county. The district is comprised of 13 schools, including a Pre-K, eight elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school, a high school program of choice, and an alternative learning program; with total enrollment over 7,700 students.
