KINGSPORT, TENN. – Kingsport City Schools is accepting nominations for the 2026 class of the Kingsport City Schools Hall of Fame, which will be inducted in July 2026. Established in 2015, this twelvth class will honor and recognize employees that have made significant contributions to KCS and its students. The Hall of Fame serves as the keystone employee award celebrating the district’s history of excellence.
"We are pleased to open nominations for the 2026 class of Kingsport City Schools Hall of Fame inductees,” said Kingsport City Schools Superintendent Dr. Chris Hampton. "This is an excellent avenue by which former students, parents, community members, and staff can recognize those who have made life-changing contributions to our schools, community, and certainly to the individual lives of our former students. We stand on the shoulders of those who came before us, and we owe them a profound debt of gratitude for helping to build the strong foundation upon which Kingsport City Schools continues to thrive. We are who we are today, in part, because of the standard of excellence they set for previous generations."
