KINGSPORT, Tenn. – The Kingsport City Schools Board of Education will hold a called meeting on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 6 p.m. in the Tennessee Room at the KCS Administrative Support Center, 400 Clinchfield Street, third floor, downtown Kingsport. All Board meetings are open to the public.

The purpose of the called meeting is to consider approval of: A revision to Policy 4.700 Assessment Programs, a recommendation related to the use of TNReady Assessment Scores in student grade calculations, two School Nutrition Services contracts (Tyson prepared foods and contract renewals), a water cooling tower bid, and a professional services agreement related to improvements to the Dobyns-Bennett track facility. Immediately following the called meeting, the Board will hold the regularly scheduled May work session.
