Construction for the new Dobyns-Bennett High School Regional Science and Technology Center will begin the week after Christmas. A construction fence surrounding the new project will be placed around the perimeter of the work, enclosing the venerable school sign/brick wall that stands prominently in front of the school. Anyone wanting to get one last picture with this background should plan on doing so in the coming days.
Kingsport City Schools will be closed for Winter Break December 22, 2017 – January 5, 2018. Second semester begins on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.
