For Families & Community Members

school messenger automated phone system opt-in

KCS uses School Messenger phone calls, texts, and emails regarding school or district information, emergencies, and weather related closures. In most instances, the automated phone call is only sent to the home phone on file for the student. In emergency situations the automated phone call is sent to all phone numbers on file for each parent/guardian of the student. During student enrollment, the parent/guardian must indicate if KCS can send automated phone calls and/or text messages to the phone number(s) on file for the student being enrolled by selecting "yes" or "no". Contact your child's school to ensure you have opted in.
