Kingsport City Schools has achieved the top composite score of 5 in TVAAS system-wide literacy, numeracy, literacy and numeracy, social studies, and the overall composite.

Kennedy Elementary School and KCS invite the public to attend a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to open the new community playground located on the Kennedy Elementary property, behind the school's gymnasium.
