Kingsport Board of Education to Host Legislative Breakfast

KINGSPORT, TENN. - The Kingsport City Schools Board of Education will host a legislative breakfast on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 8:30-10:00 a.m. The breakfast will take place in the Tennessee Room of the Administrative Support Center, 400 Clinchfield Street, third flood, downtown Kingsport. The purpose of the legislative breakfast will be to facilitate a discussion with local elected officials regarding legislative priorities on topics critical to public education during the 2025 Tennessee General Assembly.

The legislative breakfast is open to the public.

Kingsport City Schools (KCS) is a public school district located in Kingsport, Tenn., serving students in Sullivan and Hawkins county. The district is comprised of 13 schools, including a Pre-K, eight elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school, a high school program of choice, and an alternative learning program; with a total enrollment of over 7,400 students.
