Jefferson Elementary, Robinson Middle School and Dobyns-Bennett High School will be on a 2-hour delay today, November 1 due to a power outage. Students already on buses are being returned home or will be brought back to school and supervised.

Members of the Kingsport Police Department, KCS Student Resource Officers and KPD K-9 Units will be honored in a variety of ways for their ongoing service to the students and staff of KCS.

The called meeting will be held on October 20, 2016 at 6 p.m. in the Tennessee Room at the KCS Administrative Support Center.

Dobyns-Bennett High School continues to stay above 90 percent for both 2014-15 and 2015-16.

Four D-B students have been named as Semifinalists for the 62nd Annual 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program.
