Mark III - To update your life insurance (district paid) and other optional benefits that would need a beneficiary (ie- Accidental Policy, Long Term Disability, Critical Illness, and any other life insurance options) click link: Mark III Login - To update beneficiaries
Once you get logged in to your account, you will click the "Life Event" tab and select "I wish to update my beneficiary", you will follow the prompts and any policy you carry that would potentially have a payout will have the option to add another beneficiary, set up contingent beneficiaries, or simply list one in place of "Estate".
TCRS - To update your beneficiary as a Legacy member with TCRS you can log in or register your TCRS account if you have not yet done so, and designate your beneficiary. Under forms they have a printable form that would have to be mailed in to update that way or you can simply do so online once in the system. If you have any questions regarding their platform you can contact TCRS at 1.800.922.7772.
**Please note that anyone can carry 401 benefits and if you are a legacy member who has opted in for 401 benefits you may need to register or visit the Empower link as well to update beneficiaries on that platform.
Empower - To update your beneficiary as a Hybrid member, you would need to update beneficiaries on your Empower/401k accounts as well as the link for TCRS (pension side) since you have part in both TCRS and Empower. To update with Empower follow the link and log in or create an account by registering and designating those beneficiaries:
