Palmer Early Learning Center - Classroom Renovation

  • Description:   Perform renovation to convert current workroom space to student classroom space to accommodate increased enrollment at Palmer.  Work to include:
    • Create classroom space
    • Create meeting room in lobby
    • Add pass-through to existing office area to provide increased access
  • Bid Opening Date:  September 5, 2023

project update

1/8/24:  Project substantially complete.
 
12/11/23:  Project nearing completion.  Electrical, plumbing, and construction at 95% completion.  New classroom space and new front conference room in final stages of preparation.  Classroom completion expected for occupancy at start of Spring semester.
 
9/12/23: Project approved by BOE.  Pre-construction meeting to take place to determine final construction schedule.  KCS to initiate prep work in lobby area (asbestos remediation during Fall Break) so construction can commence asap.
